How do WhatsApp quotations and payment links work?
When you create a quotation on the admin dashboard, clicking 'Send on WhatsApp' dispatches a branded PDF estimate directly to the customer's WhatsApp with an embedded UPI and card payment link. When the customer pays the advance, the amount is automatically reconciled into your party ledger, the order is created, and a confirmation is fired with a live tracking link.
Can customers track their orders on WhatsApp without calling?
Yes! When an estimate is converted to an active production order, PrintKhata sends a WhatsApp confirmation message containing a 1-click live tracking link. The client can open the link anytime to see exactly which station their job is at (Printing ➔ Lamination ➔ Cutting ➔ Binding ➔ Dispatch) with real-time timestamps.
Can I send bulk WhatsApp promotional messages to my client base?
Yes. PrintKhata includes a built-in Bulk WhatsApp Marketing tool. Will this work for my kind of printing?

Do my machine operators need to be computer literate?
No. The staff workstation is deliberately blunt: large touch targets, bilingual English and Hindi labels, and one tap to move a job from ready to in-progress to complete. Most operators are productive on it inside a single shift.
Can I move my existing customer and item data in?
Yes. Party masters, item catalogues and opening balances import from Excel or CSV. On the Factory plan a dedicated onboarding manager migrates your data and reconciles opening balances with you.
Are the invoices actually GST compliant?
Yes. CGST, SGST and IGST are computed per line item with HSN codes, and e-way bill details are captured on the same document. Your own logo, bank details, UPI QR and authorised signature are printed on every copy.
What happens when a machine breaks down mid-job?
The operator taps a hold reason — machine breakdown, material shortage, operator absent or proof pending. That pushes an instant alert to the admin dashboard with the job, the machine and the reason, so you can re-route the work instead of discovering it at dispatch.
Do partners pay to use the partner portal?
No. The partner portal is included from the Press plan onwards and you can invite as many B2B dealers, agencies and corporate clients as you like at no extra cost per partner.
Is my data separated from other printers on the platform?
Yes. PrintKhata is multi-tenant with hard isolation per tenant. Your parties, items, jobs and ledgers are only ever visible inside your own tenant, and every printed document carries your branding rather than ours.
